Christmas Wreaths

Just this afternoon I realized that somehow the pictures of the Christmas wreath cupcakes I made in December never made it to the blog. Don't worry though I wasn't making Christmas wreath cupcakes in the summer it just took a bit for the pictures to make an appearance. :)

Wedding Cakes...

Here are pictures of two wedding cakes I made at the end of July. One is a tier cake and the other a large sheet. I loved the results and the bride was thrilled. Can't tell you how much I love when you give them what they were picturing:) The tier cake layers are 3" high. The bottom on is 12" round, the middle is 10" round and the top is 8" round. The sheet cake is 4" high and 12" x 19". They were a lot of work but worth every minute:)

I made these for a customer yesterday. They remind me of spring flower you would see in April or May.

These cupcakes are my latest creation. I tried out the basket weave in white icing and topped it off with green leaves and pink and orange flowers with yellow centres.

This cake was designed for a 4 year olds birthday... She loved princesses, flowers, pink and purple. Came out great:)

Here's another picture on my new skateboard cupcakes. From this angle you can see the wheels. I really love how they turned out. Perfect for an 8 year olds birthday.

So these delicious looking cupcakes are vanilla with cream cheese icing and chocolate skateboards and candy wheels. The cream cheese icing was the perfect combination for the white and milk chocolate skateboards.

200 mini cupcakes...

I finished baking all 200 mini cupcakes now I just need to ice them for Saturday. I will be doing that tonight if I have enough time to do all of them:)I think I will try out a few new designs...

And if the 24 large cupcakes this morning weren't enough I decided to make "some" mini cupcakes and ended up making 80 mini cupcakes that I decorated as cookie monsters, elmos, and oscar the grouches... obviously I didn't think that through before I started on that adventure. So 2 1/2 hours later 80 mini cupcakes are baked, have cooled off and are iced. As I stare happily at my mini cupcake rubbing my sore hand (icing that many cupcakes hurts your hands) I realize that there is no way that I can eat all those nor should I but if left at my place I will probably put a good size dent into the number. I decide I should share and split the trays and brought half to my sister Melissa's for her to bring to her students for Tuesday and the other half for my sister Michelle to feed to her kids which will not doubt send them into a sugar coma after the easter cupcakes and chocolate the have already consumed today... oh well... that parts not for me to worry about:)

So this morning I finished icing the bunnies and green grass cupcakes I promised my sister Michelle... she's having a large dinner with her husband's side of the family and she needed a dessert item:)
